Ryan Cabrera (born July 18, 1982 in Dallas, Texas) is a half-Colombian American musician. He is managed by Joe Simpson, manager and father of pop singer and reality star Jessica Simpson.

Ryan graduated from Jesuit College Preparatory School in Dallas in 2000. He was the lead singer for the popular Dallas band Rubix Groove before he pursued a solo career. In 2001, Cabrera went into the studio to record his own independent album, Elm St.. The response to the album was amazing, and prompted Cabrera to leave his band for good. He released his first major-label album, Take It All Away, on August 17, 2004, and it debuted at number eight on the Billboard 200 album chart. The album is co-produced by Goo Goo Dolls lead singer Johnny Rzeznik. Earlier in the year, Cabrera had become known for his up-tempo pop-rock single "On the Way Down", which peaked at number 15 on the Billboard Hot 100 and number seven on the Billboard Top 40 Tracks. He had also become known for his relationship with the singer Ashlee Simpson. He had appeared in several episodes of the first season of her reality show, The Ashlee Simpson Show, and Simpson appeared in Cabrera's music video for "On the Way Down". Simpson's first single, "Pieces of Me", was written about Cabrera and their relationship. The two were reported to have broken up in August 2004 because of their busy schedules, but their relationship continued, and the two were still seen together and their relationship was featured in season two of The Ashlee Simpson Show. They did a series of high school concerts together in October 2004, which was seen on the show. In February 2005, there were reports that they had broken up, but many of their fans say they were the cutest couple and should have stayed together. Cabrera has toured with Ashlee's sister Jessica Simpson. And on the tour with Jessica Simpson Ryan was caught making out with Ashlee Simpson on Jessica Simpson's tour bus. "On the Way Down" was followed by Cabrera's second single, "True"; and his third single "40 Kinds of Sadness". Currently Ryan is filming Score out in California.
