Nest

I love all birds, not just parrots. I discovered a nest in my back yard because every time I walked by, a bird flew out of a vine, seemingly from nowhere. The trumpet vine climbs up the wall by secreting some kind of adhesive.

There is certainly no nest visible to the casual observer. But, upon closer examination, looking from below at just the right angle and carefully brushing aside a few leaves, the nest appears!

What a clever bird to camouflage her nest so skillfully. Looking from above, it's even more difficult to spot. But again I very carefully brush aside some foliage, and there it is, eggs and all.

By now, I'm sure the expectant mother bird is getting very nervous, so I quickly take a closeup of the eggs in the nest, then get outa there....
