What you describe sounds very much like a nanday near the end of his life. I hate to suggest it, but you may need to prepare yourself for his approaching death.
It's never a good idea just to give an antibiotic without knowing what you're giving it for; you might do more harm than good. If you have an avian vet, make an appointment as soon as possible.
But, if I were you, I would give him as much love and attention as you can, and encourage him to eat as much as possible. And keep a close eye on him to see if he is in any pain.
I really hope I'm wrong, and he recovers, but there is a strong possibility that he won't.
