Subject: Feather Plucking - Please help
Message: Hi All,

I have had Nando, our Nanday Conure, for 9 years and hand-reared him.
In September last year he started feather plucking. There have been no changes in our house. He gets lots of love and exercise and is out of his cage for most of the day. We have tried everything. He seems to pluck mostly in the evening when he is put in his cage. It has gotten so bad that he is now starting to mutilate himself and is bleeding. Please help!!
