I have had Buddy for twenty years as of January 2012, and he is going strong! The only thing is that just two weeks ago he began emptying his seed from his dish as soon as I put it in his cage. This is a new behavior for him and I'm worried. He is my first bird [parrot] and I will certainly miss him when he is gone. I also have a 20 yr old Amazon [Mexican red head] and a Goffin's Cockatoo that just turned 19. [ And yes, I have provided a home for them when I have passed....they will be well taken care of thanks goodness...]
