Subject:Re: Biting/Clipping

Had to chime in with my experiences. All 3 of my fids are clipped. First & foremost for safety. I have ceiling fans in my house & would hate to have an accident. Also, someone is always coming & going, so an open door may be a danger with flyers. Both Yahoo (nanday) and Buddy (quaker) were foundlings and full flight when they landed outside my house. Don't know whether they escaped or were let out since no one ever claimed them.

Behaviorally, clipping made a world difference in their attitude. They both went from being bullies to being little loves. I have noticed that when I delay groomings & someone starts to make unauthorized excursions, they get bratty again.

Agree or disagree with clipping, we each do what works best for our own situations.

Happy Saturday,
