|Message:||I have a 7 yr. old female nanday who has been laying eggs in May every year for 3 yrs. now. She usually lays 3 or 4 eggs. Once she is done, I let her keep them for a week and then remove them. I was told it was best to do it this way so she wouldn't produce and lay more to replace them. However, she started laying eggs again today, July 9th.
Is there a better way to go about removing the eggs or a more exact time frame that I should or shouldn't let her keep them? I don't have a male conure, have never bred her and really don't intend to.
