Yea i was thinking about the Psittacocis aspect too. Yea it was a gradual progression to the way it is currently as i reflect back on it. It started out the he was having problems perching/grasping his branches. I thought that maybe his nails might have been getting a bit too long, so i trimmed them back. After that, he hasn't had the desire to perch at all. I guess the longer nails were actually helping him hold better. I cant help but think maybe i made it worse by the trimming.
The antibiotic he gave me says "Smz Tmp Suspension 240mg" on the bottle. Not sure if this is an abbreviation or is the actual name.
Just as an update though, after day 2 of the antibiotic and steroid. He does seems to have a bit more energy and has a stronger appetite. Not sure if this is just wishful/optimistic views i'm trying to see in him deluding me though.
If any is interested, if ya send me an email ill see if i can take a couple pictures of him and send em to yas.
Thanks for all the wonderful words and encouragement.
