|Subject:||When the humans have colds and flu?|
|Message:||I was just wondering what if any precautions are taken by other bird lovers when you, the human is ill?
I just happened to think that our birds are so sensitive that they could easily catch those germs.
Since my conures spend a great deal of time on my shoulders I took the precautions to put a dust mask over my nose and mouth to keep them from getting sick.
Question I have though is the fiber and cotton material made up of the mask toxic to birds?
I need to know A.S.A.P. cuz one of my conures thinks it's fun to tear it up. But I'm going to put him in his cage to distract him from it until I know.
Thanks: Any response would be most welcome.
