I am a bit of a beginner, but I would suggest this.  Are you wearing perfume/scent which you wern't yesterday? Remember, these things are very bad if a bird inhales them constantly. Painted nails/hair completely different/make-up?  Go back to wearing exactly what you had on yesterday. Even if you have to drag a shirt or something out the dirty laundry.  If he still hasn't responded within a few hours, then a visit to the vet is definitely needed.  He could be ill and that may be what he is trying to tell you.Another thought, have you moved is cage at all?  Don't let this go on long before a visit to a bird vet, it needs investigation. Good luck and let us all know how it goes.
