I'm new to this message board, but had to comment on the mosquitoes in this thread. Please remember that mosquitoes can carry West Nile Virus, which has killed many birds in the US in the last couple years. There have been 28 dead birds confirmed positive with West Nile Virus just between Jan. 1, 2004 and Sept. 3, 2004, and 25 of those were coastal south Florida (http://westnilemaps.usgs.gov/fl_bird.html ). So I'd attempt to keep Charlie as far away from the little blood-suckers as possible, if you can help it.
