The nanday's range covers southern Brazil, southern Bolivia, Paraguay and northern Argentina. That area of South America is savannah with some trees and palms so nandays aren't the jungle birds other conures closer to the equator are. Most nandays imported to the US, the origin of our pet birds, came out of Bolivia and Argentina.
