either his nails need clipping or he might have something on his feet that needs to be checked out by an avian vet, maybe his feet have some sort of viral or bacterial thing? i don't know, as i'm not a vet, but if this is something that he is doing obsessively, then i would definitely take him to the vet and have it checked out.....my Nanday chews his feet, but not all the time, only after he's eaten something, or after he's groomed himself or a bath, but he doesn't do it constantly.....also, maybe another reason would be boredom? does he have toys in his cage to chew on?
