Hot and Spicy Stir-Fried Cauliflower
|2|| Tblsp ||soy sauce|
|1 to 1 1/2|| Tblsp ||cornstarch|
| 1/4|| tsp ||crushed red pepper|
|1|| Tblsp ||sugar|
| 1/2|| ||clove garlic, minced|
| 1/2|| tsp ||minced fresh ginger or 1/8 tsp dried |
| 1/2|| cup ||water|
|1|| ||medium cauliflower, cut into florets|
Mix first six sauce ingredients. Add water and mix well.|
Heat a little oil and briefly stir fry the cauliflower. Add sauce mixture and continue to stir until the sauce is thickened. Remove from heat and serve with rice.
The sauce can also be used with other stir-fried vegetables -- it's delicious with green beans or eggplant.
